At Dokument Press we are always interested in new scripts and ideas from authors, artists, illustrators and photographers. So do not hesitate to contact us!

I have a good book idea, is it possible to send it to you?

What are the subjects of Dokument Press publishing?

We mainly publish non-fiction books on the topics of creativity, art and photography as well as journals, puzzles and gifts in popular culture, lifestyle, and urban design. Our aim is to reach an international audience.
We do not publish poetry or fiction. 
On the Swedish market our topics differs slightly, please visit our Swedish site for more information regarding proposals in Swedish or particularly aimed at the Swedish market.  

How do I submit my proposal?

We prefer that you send your presentation in a low-resolution pdf (max 5MB). Please try to be as clear and precise as possible in your presentation, as that greatly facilitates for us to determine whether or not the idea is relevant for publishing on Dokument Press.
It would be helpful for us if you could frame the idea by describing what it is about in one sentence. It is also an advantage to include some arguments as to why this particular book is unique and should be published. In addition, please include a short presentation of yourself as well as contact information.

When do I get a response?

We review all submitted proposals, however due to the number of submissions we receive we can't guarantee that you'll get a response if your proposal doesn't suit us.
If we are interested in your proposal we will respond within 3 months.
